Loading ...For those who know me…. as an experienced coder in PHP; I tend to reinvent the wheel. Basically I enjoy coding and normally choose to design my websites from scratch. This time I used an alternate approach by deciding to go with Wordpress and the plethora of plugins available for it. Below are a list of those whose work been used in order to create NYCRecession.com!
- Wordpress - Possibly one of the greatest pieces of web applications ever built. The most idiot friendly blog software out there.
- BytesForAll - Designers of the Atahualpa theme, which this site is based on. BTW folks from BytesForAll..how do you pronounce Atahualpa!?!?!
- Akismet - For all Wordpress users this is a necessary plugin to help fight SPAM.
- Takayuki Miyoshi - Creater of the Contact Form plugin and the CAPTHA plugin found on the Contact page! Excellent work man!
- Manoj Thulasida - Responsible for the plugin that displays those AWESOME Google Ads. You know you love him!
- Alex King - This guy has some pretty amazing plugin! NYCRecession.com is currently using his Twitter Tools and experimented with this Mobile Edition plugin.
- Imthiaz Rafiq - His WP-PDA plugin is a prime example of Keep is Simple Stupid! Very simple plugin I customized to create the mobile version of NYCRecession.
- Konstantin Kovshenin - Creator of Twitter Friendly Links, a plugin that create nice neat URLs for posts as Tinyurl does. This plugin is still a work in progress but has a great deal of potential.
- Andy Skelton - A nice little wordpress stats plugin, that I use to keep track of what interests my followers!
- Michael Torbert - SEO SEO SEO! His All in One SEO pack for Wordpress is hopefully bringing more users to NYCRecession.com!
